Honored to be invited to the benefit concert for the Kenny Campbell Foundation. Craig Campbell co-hosted the event with his buddy Bradley Gaskin. On the lineup were Hailey Benedict, Bryan White, Jason Sturgeon, Preslee Campbell, Mattie Pruitt, Tayler Holder, and Michael Ray.

It was a wonderful evening at the Ryman, raising money for colorectal cancer. Campbell started the foundation to honor his late father, who died of colon cancer when he was just 11 years old.

Bradley Gaskin opened the show. He sang his debut hit “Mr. Bartender”, as well as his new single “Accidentally Drunk” and a bunch of others.

Next was Hailey Benedict. She performed a few songs, one of which was “Carl Dean” (a tribute to Dolly Parton’s late husband).

Up next was 90s country star, Bryan White. He’s been a favorite of mine for years, so it was nice to see him on the lineup. He performed “Sitting On Go”, “Rebecca Lynn”, and “Love Is The Right Place”.

Jason Sturgeon came on and performed a few songs acoustic including one called “Cornfields and Coal”.

Craig Campbell kicked off the second half, bringing the energy level up. Among others he performed “Outta My Head” and “Family Man”. He also took to the piano for a medley of covers.

A special moment was when he brought out his daughter, Preslee to sing a few songs.

American Idol top 7 finalist, Mattie Pruitt was next. She sang “Cowboy Killer” and you could tell just how excited she was to be on the famous Ryman stage.

Tik Tok star Tayler Holder the young girls screaming (and maybe a few women as well). He sang “Dyin’ Flame” and his new single “This Ain’t You Leaving”.

Michael Ray only performed two songs, “Think A Little Less” and “Whiskey and Rain”. Low key but still enjoyed seeing him.

Campbell came back out and closed the show. Had a great time! Thankful to be invited.
