Hunter Hayes Greenhouse Session Review!

I was so excited to invited to attend Hunter Hayes Greenhouse Session event at CMA Fest this year. The event, which took place at The Late Great, was especially curated for fans to represent his studio at home, and the vibe was everything. It was an intimate room, under 100 people on various couches and comfy chairs. There were paper airplanes with handwritten song lyrics, cassette tapes and players to listen to unreleased demos, questions to write in mini journals that were handed out, and miscellaneous props all around the room. The backdrop was the very same we’ve seen in his newest project.

Hunter came out and welcomed everyone, saying how excited he was to be able to bring us into his space and celebrate new music. It was totally spontaneous and fun. Part Q&A session, part acoustic performance. Fans requested songs as far back as his first album and he happily obliged. It was very nostalgic for me as some of those songs he hasn’t played live in years. He shared stories and opened up his world to us, bringing everyone together with music. It was a great time. The only thing that would have made it better is to include a meet and greet.
