Dolly Parton Wine Review!

In celebration of her big hit single Jolene, released 51 years ago this month, Dolly Parton has released her signature Pinot Noir wine. The wine is best described as a “silky sip with a fresh palate enriched with red fruit characters and a hint of vanilla. Aromas of warm blueberry pie fresh from the oven, sweet cherries ripe from the tree, and subtle thyme dried from the family garden”.

Now, I am going to be honest. I do not typically drink wine. However, when I received an email from Dolly Parton’s team asking me to try a bottle, I thought why not? It was hand delivered to our doorstep just in time for Valentine’s Day. Enjoyed a glass with my boyfriend after our dinner that night. Paired it with a slice of chocolate cake, the rich chocolate balancing out the fruitiness of the wine perfectly. Wine has a strong, fruity aroma. Taste is sweet but tart at the same time, like a cherry. The twist off top made for easy access. Had a friend try as well. He found it to have a subtle fruit flavor with a slight hint of vanilla, adding that it provided a smooth, dry finish.

If you are looking for something new to try look no further. Put on your favorite Dolly Parton album, and kick back and relax with a bottle of her Pinot Noir today. This wine is “fruits of many colors” After a hard day of “working 9-5”, it is the perfect choice to take “three doors down where they’re laughing and drinking and having a party.”

But don’t just take our word for it. Listen to Dolly. “For many years I have not liked the color red, because it reminds me of that woman who tried to take my husband! Remember, ‘Jolene, Jolene, Jolene, ‘ but my new Pinot Noir has changed all that! I love red now. You should try it.”

Dolly Parton’s signature Pinot Noir sells for $14.99 at select wine retailers across the US including Kroger, Total Wine & More, Publix, and Cost Plus Word Market.
