Please introduce yourself.

Hi! My name is Arianna, and I’m a songwriter/artist based in Nashville, TN. I moved to Nashville in 2020 to attend Belmont University and graduated with a Songwriting degree in 2022. Right now, I’m writing my own songs, collaborating with other songwriters, and performing around town. I also sing the National Anthem at various sporting events. My biggest performances so far have been for the MLB Cleveland Guardians and the
Tennessee Titans Foundation.

Tell us about your newest project. What was the inspiration behind it and where can we check it out?

My sophomore single ‘Every Mile’ can be found anywhere you listen to music! My friend Meagan Irby and I wrote it back in 2021. I was inspired by a teenage love story I had seen on TV and wanted to write an upbeat, carefree tune about it. I was fascinated by the idea of them catching a getaway car, leaving behind their old lives to make a new
one together.

My producer Robbie Artress and I started on the track in Fall 2023. We recorded it with a live band out in Gallatin, TN, and then I recorded vocals at his studio on Music Row a couple weeks later. He brought in some incredible musicians to play on the track, Shaun Richardson and Gabe Klein. Finally, I recruited my photographer friend Lanthe Klika to capture me with the beautiful fall foliage on Nashville’s own Natchez Trace Parkway. I used the photos for the song cover art and promotion on socials. The whole process was incredible, and I am so happy with how the final product turned out! I’ve received such awesome feedback on ‘Every Mile’ since its release.

How would you describe your music?

I’d describe my style as similar to Kelsea Ballerini and Gabby Barrett.

How did you get started?

I grew up listening to classic rock and rock n’ roll in the car with my parents. I didn’t know it at the time, but I was quickly being influenced by artists like the Rolling Stones and Pat Benetar, mostly as a vocalist. Over time, Top 40 artists such as Miley Cyrus, Kelly Clarkson, and Katy Perry began to inspire me when writing my first songs.

Who are your biggest musical influences?

My biggest musical influence of all time has to be Taylor Swift, which is a very typical answer, but it’s true. Her songwriting changed my life as a kid and she continues to inspire me. Maren Morris, Alana Springsteen, and Miranda Lambert have also been a huge influence on my writing.

If you could change anything about the industry, what would it be?

I wish more people bought CDs and vinyl. They are sort of making a comeback, but it’s minimal. As an independent artist, it’s a lot harder nowadays to make enough money from streaming. Buying a single or album in physical form for what it’s truly worth makes such a difference. It’s also a nostalgic piece of music history that I want to stay alive.

What sets you apart from other artists in your genre?

Everyone who listens to my music notices my powerful voice before anything else. I think that is what has really propelled me forward so far. I also write songs that grab people’s attention, particularly with a dose of sass.

What is it about music that makes you feel passionate?

Music is so powerful. It’s a therapy like no other. The magic I create when writing, performing and recording fills my cup to the brim. I love having the opportunity to inspire other people with my art too.

What’s next for you?

I’m currently working on new music that I’m really excited about. I also can’t wait to start performing out more this year with my friends.

What are your career goals in the next five years?

My main goals for the next five years are to find my community of writers, and in the process, my artist sound. I’m also working towards playing at The Bluebird Cafe and the Listening Room one day.
