Taylor Swift Eras Review

I was lucky enough to score tickets to night 3 of the Eras tour in Nashville. When I got to Nissan Stadium it was pouring rain and storming. After sheltering in place for two hours I was beginning to think the show was going to be cancelled or at the very least, rescheduled. Fans remained hopeful as they sang Swift songs and waited. It was finally announced that the show would go on and Taylor hit the stage at 10:15 p.m.

“Now you know me. I really like planning things out. It’s one of my love languages. There is one element to a stadium tour that you absolutely cannot plan on and that is the weather. So I want to say first things first, the fact that we had chaotic weather and you decided to stay here and count on the fact that we were going to play this show no matter what that means the world to me. Thank you” Swift said before launching into the first song.

This tour highlighted songs from each era (or album) of Swifts career (Lover, Fearless, Evermore, Reputation, Speak Now, Red, Folklore, 1989, and Midnights. I’d have to say my favorite Era of the night was the Midnights Era. The special effects were amazing and added to the experience, but the real star was Swift. Taylor performed 44 songs in total, despite the pouring rain that would not let up. And she never missed a beat. Now that is professionalism and dedication.
