The Red Sky tour did not have any stops in Nashville, so I flew back home to Minneapolis to go see the show with one of my best friends Liz.

Hayes performed the entirety of his brand new album, taking fans on a musical journey of Part 2 of his special project “Red Sky”. It was nice as he put a story to them, and gave us a glimpse into his life these past few years. As many times as I’ve seen him live, Hunter never disappoints. His talent for music, for guitar, for putting together a show, and an experience to remember, is top notch.

In addition to “Red Sky” Hayes played some of his biggest hits from previous albums. A few highlights for me were “Dear God”, “About A Boy”, and “Wanted” as it was my best friends first Hunter Hayes show and I got to experience it with her. Definitely worth the trip.
