HUNTER HAYES STREET PARTY

Hunter Hayes kicked off CMA week with a free Street Party outside of Bridgestone Arena. The two hour concert featured special guest appearances by Zac Brown, Phil Vassar, Chris Janson, Striking Matches and more. Does this guy know how to throw a party or what?

Hayes performed songs from his brand new EP titled "21 Project", as well as hits from his previous albums. This was my first time seeing Hunter Hayes, and I was blown away by the amount of talent I saw up on that stage. He is phenomenal live. While only in his mid 20s but Hayes performs like a veteran pro. I watched as he captivated an audience of a few hundred people as he shredded through songs on his guitar, and sang his heart out. You could tell he was having just as much fun as the crowd. Hayes is full of charisma and energy, making him fun to watch. His songs are fun and catchy, you can't help but dance and sing along.

Highlights for me included Hunter sitting at the piano to play "Wanted". It was the first song I'd ever heard from him, so it was cool to hear it live. I also loved seeing him play "Crazy", "21", and "Tattoo" as we play those songs all the time at my work and they are among my faves of his. The special guests he brought out were an added bonus, but it was Hayes that owned the stage and the night.
